All therapists listed on the IITAP website are Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSATs) who are currently in good standing, with the exception of a few Associate Sex Addiction Therapists (ASATs), who are noted as such. Therefore, due to limited space, the "CSAT" credential will not actually appear behind the therapist's name.
When using the zip code search function, insert only your zip code and the radius desired. No other information should be selected as it will affect the search. If no CSAT is found in your state, be sure to check adjacent states, however if no CSAT is found in your area, contact us at (480)575-6853 or info@IITAP.com
Please note:
- A minimum of 30 hours of supervision with an active CSAT Supervisor is required, therefore it is recommended you verify both their CSAT and CSAT-Supervisor certifications are current.
- A maximum of 20 hours of supervision can be done as part of a group.
- Although there is no maximum number of hours required for individual supervision, a minimum of 10 hours must be done on an individual basis. Of that, a minimum of 5 hours must be face-to-face/in-person supervision, with the remaining done via phone/webcam to participate - as along as both you and your Supervisor agree.
- When your Supervisor believes you have met the certification qualifications (refer to Supervisor Resources on the website), he/she will complete their final report and submit it and a letter of recommendation to the IITAP office. At that time, you will submit your completed Final Application for CSAT Certification along with the required documments (proof of SASH membership, current license, etc.) as outlined on the Final Application form.
